PRT Coldstream is located in the North Okanagan, plant hardiness zone 5, and is located just east of Vernon in the Municipality of Coldstream. The arid climate boasts over 150 frost free days each year. The surrounding area is complete with farms and orchards.

The nursery is situated on 6 ha (14 acres) with an annual production of 5 million open compound grown crops.

These well-conditioned, robust and well-balanced plants are economical and provide high value, especially for sites that are subject to vegetative competition and/or snow press. They are typically used for summer planting on sites where moisture is not limiting.
